Priya Nair
I explain beauty devices by how they actually work — not by the claim printed on the front.
How I think about this
Beauty devices are sold on a promise and a glow, and the mechanism is almost always buried. My job is to dig it back out: what the device physically does, why that might help, and where the claim runs ahead of the science. A tool that works for one thing is often sold as if it works for everything.
I read the how and the honest limits, then tell you whether it earns its price and its place on your shelf. I research rather than test on my own skin, and I say so — no before-and-afters I didn't earn.
