Is Purina Friskies Wet Cat Food Pate worth it?
A top pick in Cats on Amazon (#7 when we checked, Nov 4, 2026)
Worth it if your adult cat enjoys smooth pate and you want three poultry or seafood recipes in a pantry-friendly pack. Each 5.5-ounce can provides complete and balanced adult-cat nutrition with protein and taurine.
Good to know: If your cat prefers chunks, shreds, or a specific recipe, look for a texture or flavor-focused pack that matches those preferences.
A smooth pate cat food pack for easy variety
Your cat does not care about the branding. The animal will vote at the dish, and texture is often the first ballot. Purina Friskies Wet Cat Food Pate uses a smooth pate texture in every can, so each meal has the same soft format while the flavor changes between poultry and seafood recipes.
That combination is the useful design choice. The consistent texture keeps serving simple, while the three recipes let you rotate flavors rather than opening the same one every time. The listing names Salmon, Mixed Grill, and Turkey & Giblets, giving you variety across the pack and an easier way to stock daily meals.
The food is formulated as 100 percent complete and balanced adult cat nutrition. It contains protein to help support strong muscles and taurine to support healthy vision. In practical terms, you get a wet-food option built for adult cats, with individual cans that are easy to portion and store in the pantry.
The listing also says there are no artificial colors or preservatives, and the cans are recyclable. That does not guarantee every cat will accept every flavor, so the fit comes down to whether your cat likes pate and the included recipes. For the right feline, the mess is manageable and the routine is straightforward.
You get 24 individual 5.5-ounce cans, three recipes, and complete and balanced adult-cat nutrition in one stocked pack. That makes it useful for daily feeding and for rotating flavors without buying each recipe separately.
