Is ARM & HAMMER Cloud Control Platinum Cat Litter worth it?
A top pick in Cats on Amazon (#3 when we checked, Nov 3, 2026)
Worth it if you want a clumping litter for a multi-cat home with very low dust, a light hypoallergenic scent, and tight clumps that make scooping simpler. The 18-pound package is designed to help manage dander and odors during daily litter-box care.
Good to know: If your cat or household needs unscented litter, look for a formula without added scent.
Low-dust clumping litter for a cleaner scoop
Your cat does not care about the branding. You care about the scoop, the air around it, and what happens after several cats have used the box. ARM & HAMMER Cloud Control Platinum Cat is built around a 99.9% dust-free formula, according to the listing, with Dander Shield Technology designed to reduce airborne dander during scooping.
That design choice matters because less airborne material can make the litter-box routine feel cleaner, while the listing also describes minimal tracking. The light hypoallergenic scent is free from 26 known allergens, giving allergy-sensitive homes a specific reason to consider it without turning the product into an unscented formula.
Then the clumping system does the practical work. Rock-hard clumps trap odors fast and are designed for easy removal, so you can target the used litter instead of disturbing the whole box. ARM & HAMMER also lists 10% more odor eliminators and baking soda, plus a 14-day odor-control claim from the maker. For a multi-cat home, that combination puts the focus where it belongs: a box that is easier to scoop and fresher between cleanups.
You get an 18-pound clumping litter package with low-dust and dander-focused features, rock-hard clumps, and multi-cat odor-control design. It can replace a more basic litter when cleaner scooping and reduced airborne dust matter to your routine.
Great for
- Multi-cat households managing frequent litter-box use
- Owners who want very low dust during scooping
- Allergy-sensitive homes that prefer a light scent
- Anyone who values tight clumps and easier cleanup
Maybe not for you if
- Your cat prefers or requires unscented litter
- You need a different package size or want to compare litter weight before lifting and pouring
- You are choosing litter for a home without a clumping-litter routine
The counter is where this earns its keep: less dust during scooping, clumps intended to lift out cleanly, and odor-control features aimed at multi-cat homes. The light hypoallergenic scent and Dander Shield Technology also give allergy-sensitive households a clear reason to choose it. Check that your cat accepts scented litter, then this 18-pound ARM & HAMMER formula is a sensible fit for owners who want a cleaner, simpler box routine with the cat litter doing more of the daily work.
Amazon shoppers rate it 4.4 out of 5 across 14,998 ratings. That is their number, not ours.
