Is the Lifewit 105L Large Laundry Basket worth it?
A top pick in Irons & Steamers on Amazon (#12 when we checked, Oct 30, 2026)
Worth it if you want covered laundry storage for 2 to 2.5 loads, plus a removable machine-washable inner bag that makes carrying clothes to the laundry room simpler. The tall, foldable design suits bedrooms, bathrooms, dorms, and laundry rooms where floor space matters.
Good to know: If you need to sort clothes into separate sections, look for a hamper with multiple compartments.
A covered laundry hamper that keeps big loads contained
The Lifewit 105L Large Laundry Basket is built around one useful choice: a tall, covered body with a removable inner bag. At 16.93 by 12.6 by 29.53 inches, it gives you 105 liters of laundry storage without spreading as widely across the floor. That makes the footprint practical for a bedroom, bathroom, dorm, or laundry room where every bit of space counts.
The lid keeps the contents contained and, according to the listing, helps prevent odors from spreading. The bag is secured with snap buckles, then lifts away from the outer basket for carrying. That changes the laundry trip from moving the whole hamper to lifting the filled bag and taking it with you. The inner bag is machine washable, so the part that holds dirty clothes can be cleaned separately.
Four reinforced fiber rods keep the polyester basket freestanding. Remove those rods when the hamper is not needed, and the basket folds for storage. Two handles provide a steady grip when moving it between rooms. You get a simple storage-to-laundry system rather than an open bin that needs an extra bag, while the lid keeps the room looking tidier between wash days.
The value is in combining 105 liters of covered storage, a removable washable bag, carrying handles, and a foldable frame in one hamper. It can hold the equivalent of 2 to 2.5 loads, so it is suited to fewer trips when your household produces larger laundry piles.
Great for
- Households collecting 2 to 2.5 loads before washing
- Dorm rooms and bedrooms with limited floor space
- Anyone who wants a lid to keep laundry contained
- Shoppers who carry laundry between rooms
- Homes that need a foldable hamper for occasional storage
Maybe not for you if
- You need separate compartments for lights, darks, and delicates
- You prefer a rigid plastic or metal laundry basket
- You need exact fitment for a narrow space, so measure the 16.93 by 12.6 inch footprint first
The Lifewit 105L Large Laundry Basket is a sensible fit for anyone who wants a tall, covered place to collect laundry without taking up a broad patch of floor. Its removable machine-washable bag makes carrying easier, while the lid keeps clothes contained and the room looking orderly. The foldable frame helps when storage space is limited. Choose it for one large laundry compartment and straightforward room-to-room carrying, especially in a bedroom, dorm, bathroom, or laundry area.
Amazon shoppers rate it 4.3 out of 5 across 9,111 ratings. That is their number, not ours.
