Is the Cesun Small Bathroom Trash Can worth it?
A top pick in Furniture on Amazon (#13 when we checked, Oct 24, 2026)
Worth it if you need a compact indoor bin for a bathroom, bedroom, office, or other tight space, with hands-free pedal opening, a quiet soft-close lid, and a removable inner bucket. It also fits regular 1.5–1.6 gallon trash bags.
Good to know: If your household produces more waste, look for a larger-capacity bin than this 1.6-gallon model.
A compact step-on trash can for tidier small spaces
The Cesun Small Bathroom Trash Can is shaped for the awkward strip of floor beside a vanity, desk, or toilet. Its rectangular body measures 11.2 inches long, 5.9 inches wide, and 12.2 inches high, with a 1.6-gallon capacity. That narrow footprint suits the small indoor spaces named in the listing, including bathrooms, bedrooms, home offices, dorm rooms, nurseries, and small kitchens.
The design choice that matters most in daily use is the step-on opening paired with the soft-close lid. Press the pedal, drop in waste without touching the can, and the lid closes quietly rather than falling shut. That gives you hands-free disposal and a calmer sound level in a bedroom, nursery, or office. The lid can also stay open while you handle a longer chore.
The removable inner bucket lifts out for waste disposal, so you do not need to carry the whole can to the larger bin. Regular 1.5–1.6 gallon trash bags fit, with custom-fit Code A bags listed as an option for a cleaner look. The powder-coated matte-black stainless-steel exterior is described as anti-rust and anti-fingerprint, keeping the finish practical as well as restrained. The photo won't tell you this: the useful feature here is the compact shape plus easy daily handling.
For one compact unit, you get a stainless-steel indoor bin, pedal opening, soft-close and stay-open lid functions, a removable bucket, and compatibility with standard small bags. It keeps routine waste contained without requiring direct lid contact.
Great for
- Small bathrooms with narrow available floor space
- Bedrooms, dorm rooms, or home offices
- Anyone who prefers hands-free pedal opening
- Homes using standard 1.5–1.6 gallon trash bags
Maybe not for you if
- You need more than 1.6 gallons for higher-volume waste
- You are shopping for an outdoor rather than indoor bin
- Your space cannot accommodate the listed 11.2-inch by 5.9-inch footprint
The Cesun Small Bathroom Trash Can suits buyers who need a small indoor bin that fits narrow floor space and handles everyday disposal cleanly. Its rectangular stainless-steel body, pedal opening, soft-close lid, stay-open function, and removable bucket cover the practical jobs without adding complexity. Standard 1.5–1.6 gallon bags are easy to match, while the matte-black powder-coated finish works across bathrooms, bedrooms, and home offices. Choose it for routine waste in a compact room, and it gives that unused corner a useful job.
Amazon shoppers rate it 4.5 out of 5 across 9,225 ratings. That is their number, not ours.
