Is the Amazon Basics 10-Gallon Wastebasket worth it?
#1 in Furniture on Amazon
Worth it if you need a simple 10-gallon indoor wastebasket for an office, classroom, kitchen, or other busy space. The open top, smooth wipe-clean finish, and lightweight nestable design keep daily waste collection straightforward.
Good to know: If you need a lid, foot pedal, or a precise cabinet fit, look for a model with that opening style or published dimensions.
A lightweight open-top wastebasket for easier daily cleanup
The Amazon Basics Lightweight Rectangular Commercial Office Wastebasket is built around a practical choice: a 10-gallon open-top bin made from co-polymer polypropylene plastic. That gives you a roomy container for indoor waste without adding a lid or pedal to operate. In an office, classroom, kitchen, or other busy room, dropping waste straight in takes one simple motion.
The smooth finish matters once the bin is doing its job. The listing says it can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, so routine marks do not require a complicated cleaning process. The rectangular shape also suits the spaces named in the listing, including offices, bedrooms, kitchens, and cabinet pullout systems, though you should check your available opening before buying because dimensions are not provided.
This bin is also lightweight and nestable. That means matching bins can be stored or transported together when they are not in use, which is useful for offices, schools, restaurants, and other settings that need several wastebaskets. The grey color is molded into the plastic, and the maker says it does not fade over time. The result is a straightforward indoor bin that prioritizes quick access, simple wiping, and easy storage.
You get a 10-gallon indoor wastebasket with an open top, smooth wipe-clean surface, and nestable construction. It can serve everyday collection in a home or workplace while also storing neatly with matching bins.

The Amazon Basics 10-Gallon Wastebasket is a sensible choice for buyers who want open-top waste collection in a home office, classroom, kitchen, bedroom, or commercial space.
