Is the HiTekk High Power Green Laser Pointer worth it?

A rechargeable green laser for clear outdoor pointing

The HiTekk High Power Green Laser Pointer centers daily use on a high-intensity green beam. The listing says it is visible across the night sky, so it is suited to stargazing, astronomy, nighttime activities, presentations, and highlighting distant objects. That gives you a clear way to point, guide, or draw attention without relying on a small nearby target.

The useful design choice is the rechargeable battery. Instead of planning around regular battery replacements, you recharge it with the included USB charger. For travel, presentations, or longer outdoor sessions, that keeps the power setup simple and avoids carrying a stream of disposable batteries. The listing describes the battery as long-lasting, but it does not provide a specific runtime, so your session length will still depend on how you use it.

The single-press on/off switch keeps operation straightforward. Tap once to turn it on and again to turn it off, rather than holding the button during a presentation or while pointing outdoors. A padded carrying case adds a practical final step: the laser and accessories have a protected place for transport and storage. The cemented carbide body and water-resistant construction are suited to everyday handling and light moisture, while the stated Class IIIa output is under 5mW.
