Are Greenies Teenie Dental Treats worth it?

Small-Dog Dental Chews That Reach the Gumline

Your dog gets one treat, and you want it to do more than disappear in three seconds. Greenies Teenie Original Natural Dental Dog uses a flexible, bendable texture and a shaped design intended to clean down to the gumline as your dog chews. That gives the treat a clear daily job: add mechanical chewing to a routine that supports plaque, tartar, gums, and breath.

The size is the detail that matters most. This version is made for adult dogs weighing 5 to 15 pounds, so the chew is matched to smaller mouths rather than treated as a one-size-fits-all reward. Get that fit right, and the texture becomes easier to use as intended. The listing describes it as rawhide-free and easy to chew and digest, with natural ingredients plus vitamins, minerals, and nutrients.

The maker reports 47% less tartar accumulation and 40% less plaque accumulation in 28 days when the Teenie chews are included in daily dental care, with data on file. That is a seller claim, not a promise for every dog. The practical takeaway is simpler: if your small adult dog accepts a daily chew, this can make dental care feel like a treat instead of another chore.
