Is the Graco Premium Foam Crib Mattress worth it?
A top pick in Nursery on Amazon (#7 when we checked, Oct 7, 2026)
Worth it if you want a standard crib and toddler mattress with firm foam support, certified materials, and a removable waterproof cover for simpler cleanup. It suits families who want one sleep surface across both stages.
Good to know: If you need a non-foam mattress or a cover that can go in the dryer, look for a model designed around those needs.
A foam crib mattress that keeps cleanup contained
The 3am version of you is who this is really for. A spill or diaper leak should not turn into a full mattress problem. The Graco Premium Foam Crib Toddler has a waterproof sleep surface, while its outer cover unzips and comes off for machine washing. The mess stays on a washable layer instead of leaving you to clean the whole mattress by hand.
The care routine is clear: wash the cover cold on a delicate cycle, skip bleach, and hang it to dry. The cover is not dryer-friendly, so you need drying time before the next change. Still, a removable cover gives you a practical reset after accidents.
Underneath, the mattress uses a polyurethane foam core and is listed with firm support for standard cribs and toddler beds. CertiPUR-US certification covers the foam's content, emissions, and durability, while GREENGUARD Gold, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and UL formaldehyde-free validation provide further screening details. These certifications give you useful information about the materials and construction.
It arrives compressed in a box. Unbox it at room temperature and allow up to 48 hours for full expansion. Easy delivery comes with a little setup time.
You get one mattress for crib and toddler-bed use, along with a waterproof washable cover and certified foam construction. The removable cover gives you a washable layer for ordinary spills and accidents.
