A high-foaming sanitizer for easier brewing cleanup
The sink is where this either works or doesn't. Five Star Star San uses a self-foaming formula that helps it reach cracks and crevices in fermentors and brewing equipment. That gives you coverage around the small spaces that can be easy to overlook during a cleanup routine.
The listing describes it as a no-rinse sanitizer when used at the recommended dilution. That can remove a separate rinsing step after sanitizing, so there is less water handling before you return to your brewing setup. It is also described as odorless, flavorless, and fragrance free, which suits equipment used for beer, wine, cider, and spirits.
The 32-ounce bottle provides a concentrated format for repeated use, and the buyer overview notes that it can make 5 gallons of solution. The foam can help with equipment details, while the formula is listed as biodegradable and designed to reduce water spotting. Follow the recommended dilution, and the routine stays simple: prepare the solution, sanitize the equipment, then use the no-rinse process described by the maker.
