Is the Canon PG-243 / CL-244 Multi Pack worth it?
A top pick in Office Electronics on Amazon (#7 when we checked, Oct 7, 2026)
Worth it if This is worth considering if you own one of the listed compatible Canon PIXMA printers and want a genuine black-and-color replacement in one pack. You get up to 100 pages from each cartridge, with Canon’s black ink designed for crisp document text and its color ink for photos.
Good to know: If your printer model is not listed, check its required cartridge number before buying so you can choose a confirmed match.
Genuine Canon ink for clearer everyday printing
The Canon PG-243 / CL-244 Multi Pack earns its place through a simple design choice: both cartridges are genuine Canon supplies made for specific Canon inkjet printers. That matters because the cartridge and printer are designed to work as a matched system, rather than relying on a generic replacement.
The black PG-243 cartridge is intended to produce crisp, sharp black text, while the color CL-244 cartridge is designed for color photos. Canon also says its FINE technology uses 6,000 or more nozzles inside the print heads. The listing connects that nozzle design with print precision and accuracy across documents and photos.
For your desk, the practical benefit is straightforward. You receive one black cartridge and one color cartridge together, each with a stated yield of up to 100 pages. That gives you a ready replacement for routine documents, copies, and occasional color printing without choosing two separate cartridge types. The main detail to confirm is the printer model: compatibility is listed for models including the iP2820, MX492, MG2420, MG2520, MG2920, MG3020, TR4520, TS202, TS302, TS3120, and TS3320.
You get two genuine cartridges in one pack, with up to 100 pages stated for the black cartridge and up to 100 pages for the color cartridge. That makes the value clearest for owners who need both replacements rather than only one color.
Great for
- Canon PIXMA owners with a listed compatible model
- People replacing both black and color cartridges
- Home offices printing documents and occasional photos
- Buyers who prefer genuine Canon OEM ink
Maybe not for you if
- You have a Canon model not included in the compatibility list
- You only need one cartridge color
- You are comparing cartridges for a non-Canon printer
The Canon PG-243 / CL-244 Multi Pack is a sensible fit for owners of the listed Canon PIXMA printers who want genuine replacement ink for documents and color photos. Its strongest point is convenience: one pack supplies both the black and color cartridges, with up to 100 pages stated for each. Canon’s matched design and FINE nozzle technology support the listing’s focus on precise, reliable printing. Confirm your exact printer model first, then this pack gives your everyday printing a straightforward refill.
